Receptionist (Part Time or Full Time)
The front desk receptionist will provide excellent customer service to our spa clients as well as provide guidance and assistance with retail products. The receptionist reports to the spa management and the owners. S/he interacts primarily with guests, involving the utmost in professionalism, ethics and confidentiality and interacts with other spa therapists and management, involving the utmost in professionalism and teamwork.
Job Duties
- Scheduling treatments, following proper procedures
- Greeting clients and escorting to waiting areas
- Educating clients on services
- Maximize books for each therapist in a fair and consistent manner
- Closing sales and encouraging clients to pre-book treatments
- Recommending other treatments
- Executing standard telephone procedure using appropriate customer service etiquette
- Confirming appointments for the next day with clients
- Informing therapists of daily schedules and/or any adjustments
- Resolving client challenges, utilizing support from the manager when necessary
- Performing other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in similar environment preferred but not required
- Excellent client service, communication and organization skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to perform basic computer skills
- Self-motivated and ready to go above and beyond
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
- Team player & goal-oriented

Certified Massage Therapist (Part Time or Full Time)
The Best Day Spa in Santa Rosa has a job opening for a certified massage therapist. We are proud of our dedication to excellent client service and creating real positive experience. Our certified massage therapists are the foundation of The Best Day Spa. We strive to deliver above and beyond what is expected from our clients and members: you would consistently give them a great massage customized to their specific needs and assist us to build our membership and grow our business.
Job Requirements
The right candidate will be talented, motivated, and possess the the following skills and traits:
- Have at least 500 hours of schooling.
- Be available for a minimum of 20 hours a week (e.g., Tuesdays & Thursdays 10 am to 8 pm).
- Have a California certification and liability insurance before the first shift.
- Must practice in a professional, calming manner and possess a high standard of work ethic.
- Must have excellent skills in standard massage modalities (prenatal massage, deep tissue, hot stone, reflexology, etc.).
- Willing to work evening and/or weekend shifts and be flexible with and available for same-day bookings.
- Possess excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
- Commitment to providing five-star levels of client service. Able to build and nurture a clientele from our growing client base.
- Non-smoker.
